In other DBZ news: We (the Dutch) are finally getting to see the Cell Games, starting monday. Fucking Cartoon Network decided it was time to rerun the entire serie before we got to see anything new :|
How much filler is there between the anouncement of the Cell Games (that's where we are now) and the actual games? :|

I don't think there's that much in terms of actual episodes -- I think it's like seven or eight ... it's just they're all so diabolically awful it seems like it goes on for years.

Living in the Netherlands, you might probably be able to get RTL2 , who are re-running the whole show from episode 1 to 291 , at 2 episodes a day between 19:00 and 20:00 CET, in a less censored version (well, actually , the amount of censorship varies heavily , as it is based on multiple French dubs - ie. the Radditz saga is completely uncut, the Android saga starts uncut with Trunks slicing Freeza's men to pieces , then has some slight cuts later on, etc.)

As for the powerlevel thing: Muten Roshi (aka Jackie Chun) already vaporized the moon at a puny power level of 140 in the original DB.

Did anyone ever play the DBZ arcade fighting game, the one with the characters from the Android Saga ( including Dr. Gero ) ? I did, and its scary shit.

I think this new game looks like an april fools joke on a news site. It just looks like trash.

But isn't it obvious? Its not really a game. Its just a heavily licensed shit to cash in on the craze.

You know, its amazing that most of the videogames that come from anime ( don't say Pokemon or I'll fucking shoot you ) on a Nintendo console never reach an american release, except for Ranma 1/2 on SNES!

And there was an Evangelion game on N64!

Hmm...will the Wonder Swan get an american release? It has games from Inuyasha and X!

The Wonderswan is excellent! If not for all the NES games I've flashed to my GBA, I'd play Wonderswan all the time (even in public like Punchi! LOLOLOL)

They're actually releasing a new revision of the hardware this month- it's got a GBA quality screen, built in stereo, and a slightly larger screen. I am psyched.

Also, "real anime"? In Japan, every cartoon, regardless of which country it originated from, is considered "anime". Here in America, cartoons which come to us from Japan are considered "anime". So you really can't argue that anything on the WB isn't "real anime". It's censored, yes, and mostly horribly dubbed, but it's still anime.
