What happened to UK Resistance?

Anybody know what happened to UK Resistance? I really enjoyed that site, but it seems to have been replaced by a horrid pop-up generating placeholder site.

Did the failure of the Dreamcast become too much for them to bear?

Well since UKResistance stopped covering Sega games and dedicated itself to porn and making fun of the elderly a good two years ago I doubt this has anything to do with the Dreamcast.

I haven't visited it in ages though - hope it's just a temp thing.

I noticed when I was compiling the HerV4 links page - and it's been down for a few weeks now. Strange for the site to just disappear unannounced like that.

I hope it comes back but I think after alienating Sony fans, then Sega fans, then the readers of the site - I'm not sure what they'd do for an encore.

I really liked the site because it didn't pander to any fans, it just took shots at anything it saw as being stupid.

The HERV is comprised of 3 parts... BOLthasar (the hervatron as a 13 year old), Smellchior (the hervatron as hating to win) and Mashpar (the hervatron as a scrub).
